Thanks everyone, great to be here. Didn't mean to "ignore" your welcoming :WELCOME56:

Agreed! How is your boy doing??

I see you have thrown your hat into endurance . . . are you having a lot of fun?? I am so envious and happy for you too.

Greenmantle Ghashahn's doing well thanks, Liz. He's had the full cast removed. The vet sawed it down to cannon size and he is to have this on for another couple of weeks ie we are into the second week now. Then its xray time to see if we can start to lead him around. One thing is for sure, he's got a great temperament :D

Endurance - love the riding. Don't think I'll be "competitive" other than to complete. I could do without the training but once I'm in the saddle, its oh so good :WELCOME56: Agecroft Fada (Talika Farad x Agecroft Vienna) is going so well now that we've sorted out what's good for him. Tried boots on him but they didn't work out. The week before last was a four day carnival called the Far-A-Way (Easter weekend). There was a combination of rides including 320klm (4 x 80klm) and our rides were the training 3 x 40klm. The last ride on the Monday was his best, 1s and As from start to finish with a consistant heartrate. He did well. The conditions on the Monday weren't fun, it rained non-stop but no one complained, not even the volunteers on the checkpoints!

I'm also dabbling with dressage, more classical riding. Found a wonderful instructor who flies up from down south to do monthly lessons. She suits both Agecroft Fahraj (Talika Farad x Agecroft Nia) and I. So, a glutten for punishment... the first weekend in May we'll try for dressage on the Friday and endurance on the Sunday! No rest for the wicked :WELCOME56:
