[Century Oak]

Some very good friends of mine have asked me to help them rehome a QH mare of theirs.  Gypsy is about 12-14 years old, a gorgeous buckskin color and 16 hands or better.  This is not a rescue, the mare is not in bad shape but they have to move her asap.

She is offered FREE to a good home, but has some lameness issue with her front foot so is pasture sound, but would warrant further investigation to find out if she could ever be riding sound.  They simply did not have the money for x-rays or in depth examination but do say she's worse after a trimming and seems to be better when her feet are a little longer.  Makes me think with boots possibly she would be more comfortable or possibly sound for light riding?  I look at this mare and I swear, if I wouldn't get divorced I'd keep her and breed her for half arabian foals.  She is stunning.   She will be arriving t my house next week for fostering, but if anyone is interest please please email me or call and let me know.  She is too nice to stand around doing nothing!  I will post pictures just as soon as I can.

Sounds like she may have Navicular? Has she been ridden in the past? I am interested in seeing pics.
