Asking price reduced to $4500 if we can close a deal by October 31, 2010. I'll even talk time payments at this price to the right home.  Honestly?  I don't have a permanent place to put him locally after this point.

Don't be afraid to contact me if you have any interest in this horse.  He needs a good, permanent home!!

Opening up trade considerations to the following:

Colored part-Arabian mare or filly (buckskin, palomino, dun, pinto, appaloosa, or unregistered cremello/perlino with Arabian, Morgan or Saddlebred blood)

Rock solid trail/"husband" horse, 15 - 16 hands and stout, in the general Southern California area

Dressage prospect 3 or older, mature height 16 hands (breed negotiable) in the general SoCal area

Well-broke trail/pack mule (gaited a plus) in the general SoCal area

Finally managed to pull some photo files from my old computer, including some of Gambit's 3/4 Arabian filly out of a dun mare.  This lovely girl was a true apricot dun (light form red dun), with tiger bars, nose rug, dorsal and belly stripe and faint shoulder stripe.  Gambit really smoothed out the body and coupling in this mating, and improved the head with smaller muzzle and ears.

After requests at ABN, I found photos of LA Ranatta (Al Rashad RSI x Karima (El Hilal)), Gambit's dam.  I'm posting them here as well.  The foal in the full body photo is Gambit, aged one or two weeks (I forget, and this is a digital scan from a friend's collection).

Please remember: Arlene Magid did a pedigree writeup on Gambit, which I'm happy to provide privately upon request.  It contains interesting information on the non-Egyptian side of Natta's pedigree, which further explains Gambit's athleticism.  Several performance horses, including saddleseat horses, in the distaff side!

Natta is also the maternal granddam of Shar Tahl AE (Rayzaar x AE Tahlmorra (Ali Jamaal)), the ER mare I have for sale and that I would love to package up with Gambit.  I'll give a deeper discount if I can have a double Natta filly back!  :)
