Hi this is the Arabian Rescue here. We have been asked to help place most of a large herd of SE/AK, Egyptian bred and some polish horses. This is a sad situation and the owner wants these horses to go to good homes. There are way too many to list, but are located in AL.

We will be doing this group by group, per the owner's prioritized list. Yearlings to go first. 8 colts, 1 filly and 1 HA colt (out of Spotted Saddle Horse, B/W).

Please email me with any specifics you are looking for or for more info on these and the others. There are many with non-Minstril bloodlines and all range in age from 1-25yrs old.

Others also available on our re-homing page at www.arabianrescue.org

Email addy is info@arabianrescuemission.org   Thanks.

These horses are located in Montgomery, AL and you can look up on DS for Sharon Tamplin. Here is the first list of horses. Pics will be added later, sorry.

Also, very important, as the owner has contacted us to help and wants the placements to go through our approval process and coordination, please do not contact her directly as this is a very emotional time for her. Once your application is approved and the horse is yours, I am sure if you have questions she will be more than happy to speak with you.

For those with DataSource the partial list is under Sharon Tamplin and they are located in Montgomery, AL. Those who emailed me, I am working on answering ALL emails today and tomorrow. Thank You.

These are all yearlings by Blac Knight (Thee Desperado x Ruminaja Ali dtr)
"Comet" (x Hayley Fanisa) - chestnut C, has not been worked with, but is very friendly and enjoys attention. Gelding quality with performance/endurance/sporthorse potential.
"Tommy" (x Autumns Karolina) - chestnut C, worked with some to lead. As a gelding, he should do well in halter (borderline as a stallion).
"Charmed" (x SF Diamond Charm) - bay C, he's a wild child (as was his dam when she first arrived), but has improved. No halter work at all. Gorgeous eyes and great topline. Upper-level show quality.
"Spots" (x Spotted Saddle Horse) - Blk/Wht C also wild. He has a halter on, and before weaned was actually doing pretty well - now if he thinks I'm going to touch him he panics. Very upright and flashy. Halter quality and may be CEP prospect.
"Skittles" (x KC Takia) - chestnut C, worked with some to lead, but is very hard to catch in stall. Once caught, he loves to be scratched. Very flashy, snorty. He is borderline halter-quality conformationally, but his charisma might make up for it. Probably will lean towards CEP.
"Lenny" (x Koahlena) - grey C, very friendly though no halter work. Wonderful body, but not a great dish. SportHorse & performance show horse, possibly main-ring halter. Breeders Sweepstakes.
"Daisy" (dam is by Ambre x Mey Melody). Bay F,if she can be registered as a purebred, she is upper-level halter quality and she will also do well under saddle. Very smart. Some halter work.

"Wash" (x Autumn Farasha) - bay C No information provided.
"Merlin" (x Bint Fehda) - chestnut C No information provided.
"Sunny" (Qursaan x Tiana Mareekh) No information provided.

Intact Colts:

Sireekh Magic "C" - 2008 Chestnut, Borderline show/stallion quality. Performance & endurance, definitely. Has become much more interested in attention the last few months. We've never had much time to spend with him.
MI Queue "Q" - Non-Minstril 2007 Grey. Stallion prospect. Class A/Regional Halter, and possibly National-level SportHorse. CEP prospect. (US National Futurity).
Thee Cajun Knight "Cajun" - 2008 Chestnut. Halter Show training. Very flashy (when clean!), sweet, and correct. Show Quality & stallion prospect.
Asami Magic "Asami" - Non-Minstril 2008 Grey. Would like for him to remain a stallion. Halter Show training. Buckeye Res Champ. Already nearly 15 hands, and will probably be btw 15.1-15.2h. CEP prospect. Mujiir babies grow in gangly spurts, so it is hard to show them until they are at least 3yrs old. I do have someone considering him.

Breeding Stallions, Group 1:

Jamilll El Nefous "J" - Non-Minstril 2004 grey. Tiny ears and gorgeous dark eyes. Very charismatic. Started under saddle (never finished). Sired two big, upright babies with his ears and eyes (1 is client's Morab filly).
Noble Conquest "Quiz" - Non-Minstril 2006 Grey. Greenbroke hunter pleasure. Shown well as weanling/yrl. Typical of Mujiir babies, did not do so well last year, and is now maturing beautifully.
Illusionist (reg.pending) "Lou" - 1997 Liver Chestnut, rare tail line. Very gentle and easy to handle. I bred him, he was born in TX, and was part of the 67 seized in Pilot Point, so I adopted him. Wonderful mover. Lovely head & neck. Older-style look. Very nice horse. I do not know if he has had any saddle work.

Mares, Group 1:
Al Avari - 1985 Bay. (Avatar al Sufi x Reveli dtr). Re-obtained rescue after adopted. Still needs a lot of weight, healthy otherwise. At least some saddle training (I hopped on bareback with halter/lead & she was responsive).
SF Surprise - 1989 Bay. Pure Polish (Double Wisdom). Beautiful head, wonderful body and movement. I finally got her cycling last year, but she became aggressive towards other mares near stud when she was coming into heat (pasture breeding), so I moved her & did not get around to hand-breeding her.
Ladianna "Anna" - 1987 Bay. (Ellorus x Aladdinn dtr) Pure Polish. She is small (14.2h or less) - she was a twin. Retired Therapeutic Riding Program. Very healthy, easy keeper.
Encognito "Nito" - 1985 Grey. (Cognac x Bask dtr) Beautiful mare. Still cycling - bad luck the last few times bred (unattended breach, stolen foal, etc.). Has cyst or tumor behind left elbow - does not cause problems, but might interfere with girth. Trained to ride as youngster, and not ridden since as far as I know. Cognac/Bask.
DB Hamra - Non-Minstril. 1986 Bay. Dam of Ra-Horakhty, who was Reg TT as Yrl and Reg Reserve Champ + EE T5 as 2-yr-old. Has not carried to term last two times bred - well worth the effort for ET. She also volunteered one summer at the therapeutic riding program. She is having difficulty keeping weight on in the pasture; she will need to be fed individually.
Golden Splash - TB 12yr Chestnut. (Big Splash x Nijinsky grddtr) Producing jumping and racing stock. Adopted out & came back super-skinny, still regaining weight. Can be a little stubborn, particularly when not handled in a while. 16+h.
Finding - TB 1987 Chestnut. (Sir Ivor x Northern Dancer dtr) Blind in one eye. Came back with Splash, though she actually has put weight on faster than Splash. Great producer & still cycling. 16+h.
Mawana - 1989 Chestnut. (Zodiac Matador x Gwalior dtr). Bad alfalfa this winter caused her to lose her foal, but she bagged up anyhow until the last mare foaled, and stayed close to new foals in case the mom needed her
Mist of Avalon "Misty" - 2001 Chestnut. (Buckingham Bey V x MS Baquero dtr) Came to me skinny, scared, and with big, padded, EP shoes. She is under saddle, but I have not ridden her. She also lost her foal from bad hay this year, and is still thin (I thought I was going to lose her when she first miscarried). She has EP action (as is her pedigree), but is NOT an easy keeper. She is still a bit shy & can be hard to catch. I suspect rough handling during training.
KC Takia "Kia" - Non-Minstril. 1997 Bay. (El Saheerh x Egyptian Watana). Re-possessed. Front feet are in horrible shape - so bad she can not lift one more than a few seconds at a time for trimming, so having to do very little at a time. I am intentionally keeping her thin until her feet are improved (though she has put on close to 200 lbs). Will require special accomodation for transport, and extensive hoof care.
Ali Badi Magic "Ali" - 2008 Black. (Blac Knight x Avatar al Sufi dtr). Small (was dam's 1st foal ever at age 21). Lovely filly. Can be hard to halter, but loves to be petted if you don't have a halter....

For those interested is there going to be any pooling of transportation to get all these horses to their new homes?

I notice not all the mares are available from her website.  Are all the horses included or just select ones?

Is she going to be parting with the whole herd or only these listed above?

I'm sorry it took me so long to reply/update.  At this time, I am not taking any applications specific to this herd. You are welcome to always fill out an application to keep on file, as I get requests for help on a daily basis.

As far as Magic Image Arabians, she has decided to lease any of her breeding stock and is only interested in placing the intact colts and unregistered youngsters, and a few other mares. The list I posted is mostly all she is looking to place and I believe the "Breeding Stallions" may be lease only, also.

If you are interested in any of the youngsters or any on this list, you are welcome to contact me. If you are interested on any others on her site, please contact her directly. Thanks again. Terry
