Anytime we lose a stallion of the impace that The Minstril had, is a sad day. Thank you for posting for those of us who did not know -- could.

THE MINSTRIL was one of my first stallions to gaze upon, and touch..what a guy! Put a mare in front of him, he revved up and sounded like a Harley..I truly loved this stallion!

He was kind, very loving, and stayed beautiful in his old age. The tape I have of him under saddle is more of a treasure to me now.

God speed, beauty, and forever grace the clouds in heaven! I am proud to have stood beside you, kissed your nose, and I am proud to own your granddaughters.

Soo sad to see this... He made such a great impact on the breed. At least he wasnt underutilized like some great stallions.. His legacy will live on through thousands of great horses..

I am very sad to hear of the passing of The Minstril. I had the pleasure of seeing him at Rose Hill when he lived there. He was in the stall across from his great grandson, my sweet stallion, Halima. He was truly magnificent. Thanks Minstril, for the grandchildren and great grandchildren, that you have been blessed our farm with.

you are sooo lucky to have a tape of him in action! This guy is Aries's great-great-grandsire and only appears in his pedigree once but he certainly made an impression on me...loved this guy

so sad to hear of this loss...
