For a limited time, we are offering breedings to The Renagade for $500/LFG! The Renagade is sired by Thee Desperado and out of the lovely black mare, Waratah. He has sired foals that are winning in halter and performance at the Class A and Regional level. The Renagade has wins in Native Costume, Show Hack, Halter, and Sport Horse Classes at the Class A and Regional level. He stamps his foals with his great mind, body, and freedom of motion!

We are bringing The Renagade out of retirement to show on a limited basis over the next year. Look for him at the Music City Show in Murfreesboro, TN Sept 17-19, 2010. He is stabled with Rakis Arabians. Make sure to stop and give The Renagade a carrot ~ he will do a trick for you :laughing1: for his birthday as we will be celebrating with cake and ice cream on Saturday of the show during the barn party.

For more information on The Renagade and the special breeding fee, contact Linda at lindathorburn@yahoo.com or 423-369-4637. www.rakisarabians.com Looking forward to seeing you there!

Thanks Janessa! He hasn't sired any foals recently, so I don't have the foal photos on our website. I do have photos of some of his "kids" on the site. Also, Tous Crin, Christine Emmert owns Ghazal, her chestnut stallion, that is sired by The Renagade. If you want I can dig up the foal photos and post them.

We showed The Renagade on a limited basis when we lived in CA. I think he did very well considering he had to overcome a life changing injury to one of his rear legs. The injury happened at a trainer's barn and they neglected to call me, the vet or the insurance company. It left Renagde with an inoperable bone chip and an exposed cannon bone that took 9 months to close. After much therapy and training, we were able to show Renagade under saddle. My daughter, Amy Spiker, did all his training...something no one believed could be done. A young lady and a distrusting stallion. It wasn't an easy road, but I am so proud of Amy for her accomplishment and Renagade for being game enough to try. He has done well in show hack, native costume, and sport horse show hack. He also did some halter before the injury winning a few championships and a top ten at the EE.

Showing at Music City is a huge deal for Renagade! He had colic surgery last November to remove a huge stone, then a second surgery to fix the incision when it ripped open, and a third surgery to remove the bone chip in his leg that had migrated from the joint all those years ago! He lived in our garage for 5 months. It is a testament to his will to survive and thrive to see him now. The above pictures of him working were taken yesterday.

We bred Renagade to a client mare last month and she was pronounced in foal on the first cycle. It will be his first TN foal!

I have attached a few pictures of a few of The Renagade get I have at our ranch as well as a link to the video of Shaikkh Rattle N Roll. The first picture is a Shaikkh Rattle N Roll, gelding out of a Shaikkh daughter. The second is my boy, The Gold Rush, a gelding out of an Asadd daughter. The third picture is The American Beauty, a mare out of my Imperial Imdal daughter, Kirmali.

I look forward to meeting you in person at the show! BTW...I knew your mare "Mouse" as a baby.

Best,
Linda Thorburn

Wow he sounds like an outstanding individual.. I didnt realize when posting that he would have some older "kids". They are soo beautiful :bigemo_harabe_net-03: I have also admired Christine's stallion for some time. The more I learn about your stallion the more I like him! lol

I would love to hear about Mouse, I know literlly nothing about her past, up until the last 3 years. She is a sweet little elegant lady lol.

Do you allow live cover, or is that something you wouldnt risk? And how tall is he? Thank you for your reply and the additional photos. You are welcome to email me at mscowgirl89@Yahoo.com

We have bred Renagade live cover with no problems at all. The client mare we bred last month was here a total of 9 days! I love it when things work out so smoothly for the mare owners. The Renagade stands 15.1 hands. His kids range in size from 14.3 to 15.3.

I took some pictures today of my Renagade kids, now mind you both Hava Little Hope and Too The Max are in California "pasture" condition "" because there ain't no pasture here only dust!
so here they are ungroomed, and chubby, Attached File  IMG_0655.JPG   6.43MB   1 downloadsHAVA LITTLE HOPE (The Renagade x Camiela(Asadd)
And here is TOO THE MAX (The Renagade x Kirmali)Attached File  IMG_0791.JPG   5.09MB   1 downloads
I can testify to The Renagades ability as a sire, he has blessed me with two wonderful riding horses that have brains (if you like a smart horse, you'll def get one), and correct conformation.

The Renagade performed extremely well at the Music City Show last month! He garnered one 1st, one 2nd and a Reserve Championship in Show Hack and Sport Horse Show Hack! If you are interested in breeding to The Renagade at this reduced fee, you must act fast as the special expires on November 1, 2010.

Call or email me for more information.

Thank you Ponygirl! We are very happy with the quality of foals he has produced with varying bloodlines.

Additionally, we have some Good News!

CEREBELLAR ABIOTROPHY results for The Renagade(CBA7083):
