Along with his beauty, El Din is also a real jewel to handle. He can be handled in a soft, wide, stable halter with no chain. If he starts to show off a bit more than you would like, it just takes a quick pull on the gentle stable halter (show halters, IMO, really 'bite' because they are so very thin) coupled with an authoritative vocal repreive to let him know you disapprove ... that's all. He's a true gentleman, something I value as I'm past 65 and not as quick as I once was. He's also a total gentleman in the stall and paddock, no pacing or any other stable vices. He handles easily among other horses and is a pleasure to bathe and groom. Both vets and farriers appreciate his willing cooperative attitude too. This boy is a complete pleasure to be around.
We'll miss him here (have known him all his life and he has spent a little over a year total with us at various times, so he's quite special to us). Looking forward to keeping up with him in his new home.
