The next issue of the Khamsat has gone to the printers. As usual, Jeanne has done a wonderful job. Another great issue. Watch for it in your mailbox in the coming weeks.........

I'm always anxious for each new issue -- can't wait!

As a side note to share something really awesome
to come, the Al Khamsa Publications committee is
working hard to make back issues of the Khamsat
available online, with searchable text which
will allow you to find relevant articles.  The Khamsat
began publication with its first edition in February
1984.  The contributing authors are a "who's who"
among scholars of the breed.

More info to come when it's available, but stay tuned....

Wishing all of you the very best in the new year,

Jill

Good grief Rosie, email me, I will look into this if you haven't heard back from the business office. I get cc'd. on all emails that go to that address and respond to any orders. I apologize for the delay.

Hi Cathy & Seglavi, thanks for your replies, that is the e-mail I've been trying, just tried again & it came back as a delivery failure notice, not sure if it's a problem my end or Al Khamsa!  I'll try to call the office later on (if I remember the time difference!), I'll pm you as well Seglavi.  Many thanks for your help, been looking forward to reading the Khamsat, especially as theres a Crabbet article, as I have Crabbet horses.

There are supposed to be four per year, but they have been running behind shedule somewhat.. If you have your subscription, you will get all four even if they are late. The newest one has just gone to the printer, so should be out fairly soon.

Thanks Pam, have received my last 2 copies now & they're fab!  Looking forward to getting the latest copy soon (posted on the 20th!).
Sheikh Rissan, sorry for not replying to your post, only pop in here occassionally, I'm actually based in France but am British!  I don't actually have any SE's at the moment (have Crabbets & partbreds), still learning about the various SE / AK bloodlines, am finding the Khamsat very informative!  Do you breed SE's?
edited to say just seen your link Sheikh Rissan, your boy looks lovely, the sire of my first horse was Russian (Pushkov), she's still with me, though 21 now!

I got mine yesterday, and it is excellent. Mind you I have yet to see an issue which is neither excellent or educational.
