Our 13 year old SE mare Mahkira (Makhsous x AK Dahkira) went to her first show yesterday. It was a small local open show and she was hown in several western pleasure classes and several hunt seat classes by a good friend of ours.  She handled everything well and came away with 7 first and 5 second place riboons. They weren't big classes but she went up against several other breeds and was a great ambassador for the SE Arabian. Jennifer was in the stands with her broken ankle cheering her on!

Congrats Mike!  Looks like a real nice mare with a great pedigree.  I can't think of any I've seen with the El Araby daughter, *Habeeba in the tail line.

Short back and 3 circles--very substantial mare. If I saw her at an open show, I'd be over there  to ask who she was.

Thanks everyone for your support. Unfortuneately I don't think anyone took any photos. I am usually the photographer and I was at a conference so I wasn't able to attend.
