There is in the United Kingdom a mare for sale by King of the Nile out of Kildalton Mona......... I believe she is 100% Heirloom(and willing to be corrected) and maybe of interest to this forums readers??

If my own path was not already decided - I should find her tempting :)

I have searched Herriots(our United Kingdom traditional source) and of course Amazon et al........ bar purchasing no longer required volumes such as the Heirloom volume from C ate(Bhaltos Arabians) I am at a loss........

Thanking you.

Stuart.

<Edited correction here thanks to Clo:  this image shows
KING of the Nile, not his full brother Prince of the Nile.
All comments are meant to infer King, not Prince....
original post follows.>

Thanks so much for sharing this Stuart -- I couldn't resist
sharing this photo of Prince of the Nile & I hope it is OK
in this context.  I do not know who took this one,
but Prince of the Nile is living & currently owned by
Arnaud Bouveret & standing at his http://www.alfakhriarabians.com/
stud in France.

I knew Prince's older full sister Queen of the Nile well from
her days at Fippen's.  She remains one of my all-time
favorite mares.  She was last owned by Megan Detweiler
of Mountain Spring Farm in PA:  http://mountainsprin...m/homepage.html

If I recall correctly, when bred to Kildalton Silhouette
(an Heirloom Pritzlaff/Rabanna mare descended from
stock from Vincent Melzac's herd) he sired an Heirloom
colt who went on to be King Ramses Shahir who won a number
of show titles. Perhaps someone could enlighten us about his
show record?  Kildalton Mona is also Heirloom and descends
from Vincent Melzac's Pritzlaff/Rabanna bloodtock.

Nice call Stuart!

Enjoy!

While this isn't a living Heirloom SE horse,
I don't think many have seen these magnificent
Susan McAdoo photos of him.  I didn't see him
on this day, but this is what I remember both of
him & every one of his offspring I ever saw.
He was perhaps a sire with no equal, but that
is just my opinion.

These are kindly shared with permission from
Jaleen Hacklander and Susan -- thank you both
for kindly allowing these to be shared here!

Ansata El Nisr has living SE, Heirloom descendants
who continue to inspire me every time
I see them in the flesh.  His SE great grandson, REA
El Karim, bred & owned by David Myers of Renaissance
Arabians at
http://www.rearabians.com/home.html
I think will be familiar to most here on the forum.
REA El Karim exemplifies what happens when
you utilize this stock with other lines, both SE & SO.

Enjoy -- look at the beauty combined with bone
and substance in this horse:  poetry never had
it so lovely IMHO....Balance, lol!

I hope others with Heirloom Ansata El Nisr
descendents will post here...

Jill

I've seen her too Stuart, such a shame I'm not in the position to buy at the moment!  Hope she finds a home who will appreciate her special bloodlines.  Are there any AK / SO breeders in the UK?

Jill, I believe King Rames Shahir was sold recently (seen him on Clothildes website), he looks a very nice horse as well!

DearStuart

thanks for the enquiry. All my works are sold out time ago except I still have some copies of the "Pindex" and the Straight Egyptian Index. I will not repuiblish, once these are gone.

People had to buy directly from me, as I did not put any of my works into hands of agents, etc.
If you contact me, we can talk further.

Have a grand day

Thanks Jill, what a beautiful horse, and such excellent movement. He appears to be even barefoot, eh.

Yes Stuart, I must say I could kick myself for selling it, but my loss is your gain and you'll be able to put it to far better use than me. :)  Ah well that's life just felt my years are clocking on and my sE horses have arrived too late for me. .....now I'm feeling sorry for myself!   No certainly won't take umbrage again, and good that we can jest about these things. ;)

Such a pity there isn't an sE/AK/SO whatever you want to call it group going in the UK.

All the best,
Cate

Here is my stallion, Mon Amir BWA. Here is some info on him!

Mon Amir BWA is indeed a rare horse. He is the only Heirloom son of Amir Seralim BWA in the
USA in turn the only AK son of the Babson stallion Ru Amir Ser (AMIRS SER RAH x BINT GAMMOUSA),
who was exported to Mexico.  AMIRS SER RAH himself also sired only this one Heirloom
foal (Ru Amir Ser) as did Bint Gammousa.
Coincidentally, Bint Gammousa is a full sister to Shar Sabbah, producer of outstanding
performance and breeding stock, including
Ibn Sabbah Bedu +/, Ibn Lothar, Char Mahrsab,
Inshalla Imhotep, Sabbahs Marjah,
and the up-and-coming sire, Bedu Sabir.
Mon Amir BWA carries other rare Heirloom lines as well.

Absolutely right Clo and thank you for the correction -- I appreciate it!
I've made an edit to the original post so that the clarification (I hope)
is apparent to other readers while leaving my first post intact so all
this makes some sense.

Many thanks for the additional posts here of
wonderful Heirloom SE stallions:  Mon Amir BWA
and Haliluyah MH.  This is what I'm sayin':  share
'em if you got 'em because so many are such
lovely horses.

Mon Amir is quite an accomplished horse, but
I'd love for you to share here his performance
record for those perhaps unfamiliar, if you have
time?  Please count me among his long-time fans!

Haliluyah MH blew me away when I saw him
at Jodi Cruz's....I need to win the lottery Judi, lol!
