Says to sign up for the newsletter.

Then states   "We are in the process of collecting the largest historical database of the Straight Egyptian Arabian.  SE.COM is being funded with private funds, will be self sustaining with all excess proceeds benefiting the Pyramid Society.  Please help us by sharing your archived photos & videos with the world."

But we already are - here at this site.

The rest of the old website are now blocked.  This sounds more like the fall sale last year.  All excess proceeds benefit TPS.

Liz, I hope it stays blockerd. There is so much viciouness, insults, and wrong information about horses/pedigree and ery ;little can be of service. I issued 10,000 posts, half of which were in defence. I dont know how the law goes, but will no give permission to reprint any of my educational posts. If someone wants to know, they can call me

It is only blocked as far as posting. Everything is still there as a "read only" site.

It would be interesting to see the result of the site going live again?  I picked "one" of the Exochorda" topics for a "read through" .....  perhaps it should remain 'read only' :D

Heidi, site has nothing to do with aha and is not being revived by the folks doing the new aha site. Last I knew the site was owned by Hank DeShazer and he was putting up funds (and collecting other supporters) to have Scott Bailey's company (arabhorse.com/ knight media) create a new site. The domain registration for the site is privacy protected (so I can't verify Hank is still the registrant), but it is being managed by knight media, so I think the info I have is still correct.

I miss SE.com, there was so many good articles and information sharing knowledge, I wonder where all of the people are now .... and if they still have horses...

Hello Paul,

I often wonder what has happened to everyone, as well.  For a while after SE.com deteriorated, this site was rather lively and interesting, as many of the SE folk moved over here.  Now, I check in only once or twice a month, and often there is nothing new.

I still have my horses, and still show competitively.  My mare Aimbri Ansarah (Ramses Maris granddaughter) is related to your mare.  :)  Unfortunately, I am no longer able to post pictures to this site, but have several on my facebook page and website, if you'd be interested in seeing her.

I am visiting again also. I do think with facebook, many moved to the groups there? Much easier posting pictures anyways.

The topic under this one is a good example why I like the forum format better than Facebook. The information is at hand when one is ready to digest the information. FB information is fleeting. I often will read a topic and many months perhaps years later hear some mention of it and think "I read more about this somewhere". On FB it's nearly impossible to track down old posts. I agree, the problems with posting photos may have driven people to FB but I don't think the problems with photos will improve unless more people use this forum. As I understand it, more people using the forum = more advertisers = money to put into fixing things. I am glad the information is still readable here and at se.com.
