Dear All

An Update. Frisia Shaheen and Wilma be leaving Dec.21 and arriving next day in Dubay. Wilma flies from Houston, and Shaheen on a special plane, both arriving about the same time.

Wilma has a top crew and they also are flying out early January. So will her daughter. Race is on Jan 10th. Lets wish her luck and all the best, its the first time to my knowledge that an SE competed in this grueling event. We say in Germany " Hals und Beinbruch".

And I know in my heart that some of you have the horses to also achieve that much. These SEs were known for their stamina, endurance etc, we all know this.

I still maintain that of the PS should start endurance races again,. many of you could test your horse. iTS not WHO WINS, ITS ALL THE OTHER THINGS TO WATCH and truly get you know your horse.. I have been trying for so long to get those endurance races back, wont you all please help?

The sportshorse is in strong demand, and always will be. But we got to start somewhere, right?

The PS has enough money to get it going for 2015. And it will bring many onlookers too and possible buyers.

Take care

Hansi

Hi Hansi,

My half SE Arabian, Sakher,  is HA Training level horse of the year and top 5 HA First level horse of the year.  He's also the local region HA sporthorse under saddle champion.

Why? He has my mare's great brain. She shows up every time ready and focused on work.

My mare is built uphill and not a likely candidate for race/endurance. I'll be competing her in dressage and, possibly hunter/sporthorse, in 2015.

HI all

An update on Frisia Shaheen and Wilma De Boer. Wilma said she had an awesome ride the first 50 miles and was in the top tends.

She pulled him because he dehydrated and she did not have electrolites with her, learned from this serious error.

After the race, Frisia Shaheen was immediately bought by the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed

Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. His trainer said that Frisia Shaheen is the best horse the USA had. He won many racing events here and best condition.

Wilma went to his stables and was happy with the condition, they get carrots and apples and fresh biseem (alfalfa) every day

and also are turned out for various hours every day.

Before Wilma gelded him, she retained frozen semen.

all take care
