I'm working on a little project - I need to know about SE and SE related horses that are CURRENTLY competing in any sport discipline. Please send me details and photos if you have them. If you know of someone please share my info or direct me to them. This will be a great opportunity to showcase how versatile the SE can be!!

Disciplines to include would be endurance, jumping, working hunters, dressage, eventing, etc. I'm looking for horses competing at rated shows.

Thanks!

  • Interests:I am completely new to the world of the Straight Egyptian. I have always loved Arabians, and I own 2 that are polish bred. I have recently acquired a Straight Egyptian stallion and I plan on breeding and building up my own straight egyptian farm. My equine children are MSU Sweet Justice (Hucklebey Berry x Pasketta), PM Soulstice (Solstice x MS Kora), and Ibn El Norus (El Norus x Maar Halima). I have done most of the training of my horses myself, and I am using Parelli Natural Horsemanship methods with them.

I will eventually be competing in endurance with my stallion, Ibn El Norus. I know that doesn't help you now, because he isn't currently competing.

i have some great pictures to upload, but can't right now. My mare and her half warmblood colt are out competing at AHA and open dressage shows. The AHA dressage classes have been a great introduction and since they use rated dressage judges, their results are the same as in their open shows.

My SE mare and I are perfecting canter, so serious showing will be 2015.

Her colt is doing fantastic.  He's AHA Region 11 champion Sport Horse Under Saddle and Training level dressage.  He's qualified for open regionals in Training level and picking up his qualifying scores at First level. That is with less than a year's dressage training.

good idea

Silvia Nauman,Germany has her endurance champion Serenity Shaham entered in the Asil Club show in Agust, (75 miler) also in dressage

and Wilma Deboer,USA has her champions Frisia Mameluk entered for the 100miler Kentucky

competition soon

and Frisia Shaheen will go into this year's Tevis Cup. Remember was 13th of 164 entries last year.

Her Serenity Shahmir is in dressage training, with the intend to reach the grand prix stage.

this is an absolute awsome stallion.

Contact them please for photos.

all 3 are of Serenity Breeding.

wish them good luck, as I do

My SE mare Shahkiraa (Al Adeed Al Shaqab x Al Ghabra) is doing well in endurance. This year we won 120 km (75 miles) in the end of April and this past weekend we finished Czech National Endurance Championship, 2x80 km (two days competition, 50 miles each day) on 3rd place. Cant post pictures, so here is the link to one picture from this weekend: http://www.aqarabians.wz.cz/shahkiraa-borotin.jpg

Dear Posters,

with great pleasure i can tell you that the Al Tair Stud.(Sabrina & Karsten Scherling) now has 3 Stallions that are going to compete in germany ! I invited them to the biggest and best event for sporthorses at Aachen during the ANC !

ciao Roland Palm

"If the art were not so difficult we would have plenty of good riders and excellently ridden horses, but as it is the art requires, in addition to everything else, character traits that are not combined in everyone: inexhaustible patience, firm perseverance under stress, courage combined with quiet alertness. If the seed is present only a true, deep love for the horse can develop these character traits to the height that alone will lead to the goal."
