Thee Belle AE (Thee Pharaoh x CA Beita (Sujan)), 2004 grey SE/AK mare. Yes, from the Thee lines (only 1 line to Ali through Minstril), but a very beautiful and athletic individual! She stands an honest 15 hands in bare feet, and may get a little taller still. Very pretty head without being too extreme, long swan neck, deep sloping shoulder with good motor behind and very nice legs.

Her sire and half-siblings compete and win regularly in Halter, Sporthorse-in-hand and under saddle. Her full sister sold to a private breeder in Egypt, but IMHO this is the better mare.

Mom is Gleannloch/Bentwood bred with no Shaikh Al Badi, Moniet El Sharaf or The Egyptian Prince --don't see that very often! She's a granddaughter of Ibn Morafic and AK Najib Pasha.

I'm retaining mom, but must cut numbers so Belle must go. But she'll be a wonderful addition to any barn. She is sweet and affectionate, and very willing. Does all the groundwork basics and now ready mentally and physically to start under saddle. Hunter, Dressage.. possibly lower mileage endurance. And my prior trainer considered her a very strong prospect for English Pleasure, if brought along slowly and allowed to develop without high pressure early on. Take her in the show ring, then put her in your broodmare band -- she loves the babies, although she is a maiden herself.

Asking $6,000, but mention you saw her here and your price is $5,500. Will consider cash offers. Terms are available to the right person with vet/personal references. May also consider a lease or lease-to-buy option. I must reduce numbers a bit since I'm out of a job, and a good home that will use this mare to her full potential is very important to me.

Photos below were taken October 2008 (headstudy 6/07), but she has matured a lot since then.

Beiata appears briefly towards the end of the video, and here are a few captures from that video session in 2007. If she weren't grey, she'd just about be my perfect horse. People who visit always comment on her -- words like "ethereal" and "unicorn". She's super sweet and easy to work with -- very easy to see where Belle got her wonderful personality and disposition.

Asking price on this mare reduced to $5,000! Haven't measured her for a while, but she is now clearly taller and well over 15 hands in bare feet. But still wears a yearling or small horse halter! Filling out really nicely, too! I'm really motivated to get her off to a good home that will bring her to her potential, either under saddle or in the broodmare barn! Let's talk!

Updated photos taken October 2009. She's maturing beautifully and looks more and more like her mom every day!

Thanks! She's a super sweet girl, as well as being well put together and well bred. I'm really motivated to get her placed somewhere that will give her a job under saddle, and can blend her lines with a good stallion. I always thought she'd make an excellent cross with the *Norus son I bred, who is now living in TX at Serendipitous Trails, in Temple. He should give her more bone, she will give a bit more elegance. Just have to make room!

Still available, for sale or for lease! 2010 show and breeding season approaches...

I've been working with her on the ground with a saddle. She has absolutely NO concerns about the weight or the flapping (Western), and has been completely quiet in the round pen at walk, trot, canter and halt. She's SO easy going... I wish I had someone who could actually back her at this point.

Also, her dam, CA Beiata (Sujan x Taaz Abyanna (AK Najib Pasha)), is still available for a 2010 breeding season lease! See photos above in post #3, and contact me for more information!

Certainly someone wants a Christmas present for themselves or their family? Asking $5,000, but the right home is welcome to make an offer!

Forgot to mention -- with this mare's easygoing and people loving disposition, I think that she may turn out to be an excellent youth horse. She simply thrives on attention, and is very good minded and forgiving.

Wow she looks so much like my mare, (avatar) her mane is even on the same side lol. I wish I could buy her, but unfortunately can not. It would be neat to have 2 similar looking grays for driving..

Best of luck with her sale :bigemo_harabe_net-03:

Huh.. You know, since I don't like driving, I never think of it. Belle would probably make a great competitive driving horse. I don't think show ring harness would be her thing (although she can certainly grow the tail for it!). But obstacle courses, or even cross country, might be something she'd like.

Breeding season is starting! This mare is ready to consider your stallion offerings! :PerspectMA19366318-0001:

Have done some under saddle work with her -- no weight yet, but before our bad weather set in she was working quietly with saddle in the round pen. Never did show any indication of buck or rear. She'll be easy to start. Good youth prospect.

Lease and lease-to-purchase options definitely negotiable. Offers and time payments will be considered. Might also consider a partial trade for a 2 horse bumper pull in good/safe condition, located near the Southern California area. Let's talk! This is too nice a mare to sit around here.

Well... Belle is still looking for a new home. She's pretty much topped out at 15 hands even. She's working in both saddle and bridle, and I'll be putting her into saddle training in about 2 weeks. 30 or 60 days of training can be negotiated in her sale price, which is still at $5,000!

Breeding lease of course negotiable... She's definitely ready to be a mom as well as take on riding duties.

She's very athletic, but her personality is amazing -- very laid back and easy to train. She'll produce lovely babies, and I like Jasoor's pedigree over hers!

The trainer is absolutely thrilled with Belle's foundation, and her work over the past 2 days. She'll be backed tomorrow, and under saddle photos will be available soon! Beauty, brains, and athleticism! She could be "Thee" thing to add to your program! :PerspectMA19366318-0001:

Belle is now going well under saddle. She's very soft and willing. Will make an excellent hunter, dressage or Western prospect, and is a strong youth prospect after a year or two with appropriate mileage. She continues to progress rapidly. Photos are only the 8th ride! She moves forward willingly, has good upward and downward transitions, stands quietly for mounting and dismounting from either side. She is quickly catching on to rounding and using her body to bridle.

Price of $5000 includes her first 30 days of training (to July 1st). Willing to negotiate -- cash will definitely talk, and terms are available with good references. May also cut a deal including a second month of professional training.

Gorgeous mare! I am surprised that with her quality she isn't moving...
Must be the bad economy. I would love to breed her to my Om El Shahmaan son who is heavily Spanish bred!

Updating with more under saddle photos, taken earlier this month (July 2010). If I hadn't been out of town this past weekend, we would have taken her to a local *rated* dressage show for some experience at Training Level. This mare is improving by leaps and bounds -- has one heck of a show career ahead of her before, and after, having babies! This is, I believe, around the 15th ride...

She was also ponied out on the trails for the first time ever last week. Very calm and collected on a short time around a few blocks. In our area, that means: cars, trailers, motorcycles, heavy equipment, lots of streets to cross, barking/charging dogs... As we go further out, it will mean things like corralled emus and llamas, hills, rocks, eroded areas, running water, kiddie pools (with and without kids), miscellaneous (but often exciting) trash...
